Dr. Raymond G.W. Kubisch is an orthodontist in Santa Barbara, California, specializing in orthodontics and facial orthopedics for children and adults.
Dr. Kubisch is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Indiana University in 1974, serving as valedictorian of his class. He then earned a Master of Science in Orthodontics at the University of Washington in 1976.
Having been in private practice since 1976, he has provided personalized service to the residents of Santa Barbara since 2001.
Dr. Kubisch is a published author and has served on the faculty of the Indiana University School of Dentistry and the University of Washington Orthodontic Department.

Dr. Drew Ferris is an orthodontist in Santa Barbara, California, specializing in orthodontics for children and adults. Sharing a similar orthodontic approach with his partner, Dr. Raymond Kubisch, Dr. Ferris strives to provide an exceptional level of care in a patient-centered environment while making the process fun and enjoyable. Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Ferris attended the University of Missouri, earning a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Real Estate, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he graduated with top honors. Eager to head west to Loma Linda University for his orthodontic residency, Dr. Ferris served as Chief Resident, held numerous leadership, research, and teaching positions, and earned his Master’s in Science and Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. During his residency, Dr. Ferris visited Santa Barbara often and knew he wanted to live and raise a family there after graduation. He is excited to have joined Dr. Kubisch, a great doctor and mentor, and a team dedicated to the highest quality of orthodontic care.

This is why Dr. Ferris is constantly continuing his education, not only in orthodontics, but in all facets of dentistry. He is an orthodontic advisor in the Santa Barbara Dental Study Group, where he frequently lectures and learns along with 35 other dentists and specialists. With his advanced training in Invisalign®, traditional and lingual braces, and surgical and non-surgical approaches, he is very knowledgeable in current and technologically advanced orthodontic treatment. Dr. Ferris is currently completing the requirements to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction held by less than 35% of the profession, and one that recognizes the doctor’s pursuit of continued clinical excellence and proficiency.
When he is not working, Dr. Ferris enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, going to the beach, hiking, health and fitness, and as a former member of the University of Missouri’s Division I Golf Team, he enjoys all sports, especially golf. He is passionate about being active in the Santa Barbara community and enjoys volunteering and giving back. Dr. Ferris believes that he has found his dream job, and he is committed to helping local youths achieve their dreams too.
